Terms of service¶
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Tuneline Studio at https://tuneline-studio.vercel.app ("Tuneline"), a personal
project run by Karthikeyan Balasundaram. By creating an account or using Tuneline, you agree to them. If you don't
agree, don't use Tuneline. The Privacy policy explains how your information is handled.
The service¶
Tuneline is a free tool for building, running and evaluating fine-tuning pipelines with your own accounts at compute and model providers. It is provided as it is: features can change, and the service can be paused or shut down at any time. There is no guarantee of availability or support.
Your account¶
- Keep your GitHub, Google or email account secure: you are responsible for what happens in your Tuneline account.
- One account per person. You must be at least 16.
- New accounts need a Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook or work (organization) email address; other free and throwaway email providers can't create accounts.
Your keys and your costs¶
- Runs and endpoints use your own accounts and keys at Hugging Face, Kaggle, Modal, RunPod and other providers. Those providers bill you directly under their own terms; Tuneline itself charges nothing.
- You are responsible for all costs from the runs and endpoints you start, including any left running. Time, memory and cost estimates in Tuneline are guidance only: the provider's bill is what counts. Check your provider consoles and stop what you don't need.
- Tuneline isn't responsible for providers' charges, outages or changes.
Your content¶
- You keep all rights to your datasets, pipelines, models and results. You allow Tuneline to store and process them only as needed to provide the service to you.
- You are responsible for having the right to use the data you upload and the models you fine-tune, including their licenses (for example gated models) and any personal data in your datasets.
- Don't upload data you aren't allowed to share, or sensitive personal data you have no lawful basis to process.
Acceptable use¶
Don't use Tuneline to:
- break the law or infringe other people's rights;
- create or spread malware, spam, or content meant to deceive, harass or harm others;
- access other people's accounts or data, probe or attack the service, or get around its limits;
- create accounts automatically or in bulk;
- break the terms of the providers you run on.
Accounts that break these rules may be suspended or deleted.
Models and results¶
Fine-tuned models and evaluation results can be wrong. Evaluation reports and quality gates help you check a model; they don't guarantee how it behaves. You decide whether and how to use a model, and you are responsible for that use. Templates and examples, such as sanctions alert triage, are demonstrations on synthetic data, not compliance, legal or other professional advice.
Ending¶
You can stop using Tuneline at any time and ask for your account to be deleted (see the Privacy policy). Accounts that break these terms may be closed, and the service may end; where possible, you get notice so you can remove your data first.
Disclaimer and liability¶
To the extent the law allows, Tuneline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and its operator isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or profits, or provider charges that arise from your use of Tuneline. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Changes to these terms¶
When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new date. Using Tuneline after a change means you accept the new terms.
